After missing the Tokyo Auto Salon, we were lucky enough to make some of the other large motorshows in Japan and Australia, including the Osaka Auto Messe, Fukuoka Auto Salon and Melbourne Motorshow. Make sure you check out our Image Gallery for many photos you won't see anywhere else!

Osaka Auto Messe

The Osaka Auto Messe is known as the biggest supporting event to the Tokyo Auto Salon. Situated in Osaka, a large aftermarket manufacturer city, the Auto Messe features a number of stands not found in the larger Tokyo show.

Big R35 GTR fans, we were happy to see a huge turnout, including the Mines R35 GTR, GT-R magazine R35, GTR-SNS R35 and the HKS Kansai GTR amongst many others!

Fukuoka Auto Salon

The Fukuoka Auto Salon is hosted at the Yahoo dome, also used for the Fukuoka Hawks baseball team. The entire field is turned into car lovers heaven, as the large manufacturers make the trip down to Kyushu and the many local manufacturers also make an appearance.

We felt the Fukuoka show was better than the Osaka show in 2008 with many of the same R35 GTR's, new Impreza's and Evo's, but also many unique local manufacturers. The new HKS Camp 2 was also on display, which now have available on the website.

Melbourne Motorshow

One of our team members was lucky enough to visit the Melbourne Motorshow in Australia. Featuring a number of concept and new vehicles. Nissan Australia featured the R35 GTR which they are planning to offer for sale in around a years time for over $150,000 Australian dollars, a large premium over the Japanese release price.

Other notable vehicles were the Holden Coupe 60 and HSV W427, featuring a 7L engine and over 500hp.  Also appearing were the Bugatti Veryon, Audi R8, Hyundai Genesis Coupe and the Toyota FT-HS concept car. Check our Melbourne Motorshow gallery for more photos.

Unfortunately we have been flat out over the Christmas and New Years period and couldn't make it to the Tokyo Auto Salon this year. You can see some of the photos from our previous Auto Salon visits in our Image Gallery.

Expected to be featured heavily at this years Auto Salon's are parts for the exciting range of new performance vehicles such as the Mitsubishi Evo X, the new Subaru Imprezza and of course the new Nissan R35 GTR.

We have already added the ARC front mount intercooler for the Mitsubishi Evo X and are anxiously awaiting the release of the ARC oil cooler and Titan Exhaust system. As soon as these products are available you can expect to see them available on our website.

The top brands are fighting it out for the first release of parts for the R35 GTR. The first news came from Mines with parts including their exhaust system and brake upgrades. We now have releases from ARC featuring a single rectangular titanium exhaust pipe per side, the famous Amuse R1 Titan exhaust system has been released and tested to push the new GTR to 500whp by Option Magazine. 

Once available for purchase we will be sure to make these parts available on our website and look forward to the results from our R35 GTR members, of which we hope to see more of in the future!

Defi Boost Gauge

The addition of a boost gauge enables you to monitor your turbo and prevent any serious damage should boost increase over safe levels. The Defi BF meters feature full black out when switched off, improving vehicle security.

Defi gauges include the sensors required for operation, so simply combined with the Defi control unit the Defi boost gauge is a fantastic present this Christmas!

Apexi Power FC

Always the favourite, the Apexi Power FC is one of our most popular products. Though Apexi supplies have been limited lately, supply is finally becoming more regular and this may be one of the best times to make your purchase in a long time. 

We have visited a local Nissan dealership, that happens to be located on the 4th floor of a city building. The 4th floor IMS Building in Tenjin features the usual new Nissan, Toyota and Mitsubishi vehicles and much to our delight the new Nissan R35 GTR was on display! We have also added the R35 GTR to our vehicle selection and will be adding any new products launched for the new GTR once announced by any of the Japanese manufacturers. We look forward to the first addition of the R35 to our Members Section!

Welcome to the new design of the Nengun Performance website. We have been working very hard over the last few months to make many improvements to the website, many coming from your suggestions over the last few years. We still have some fine tuning to do, but your feedback is very welcome!

We have incorporated a number of major new features, one of which includes this Blog, enabling us to provide up-to-date information on the latest performance parts and much more. We also encourage you to checkout the members section, we will provide more indepth details in a future post, including prizes for the top featured members!
