HKS - DB Meter Chrono
HKS uses 3D Meter panel design for this meter for the first time in the range of Japanese aftermarket performance gauges. Also white LED is used for lighting up the meter panel for excellent visibility at night driving and offering low electricity consumption. Specially on the tuned performance cars which have many electronic devices, LED lighting system has advantage to maintain good battery load.
Link System Meter
By using I/F UNIT between the gauges and the sensors, the system offers easy and tidy wiring. HKS designed this I/F UNIT to be installed in the engine bay, so only one main harness can be run into the interior to connect up to 6 gauges. When you want to add other gauges in the future, they will be able to be connected to the main wire without running other wires from engine bay. The HKS I/F Control Box is available separately.
Light Weight and Super Slim Design
The body thickness of DB Meter Chrono is just 23 mm and this measurement is the thinnest among Japanese aftermarket gauges (at January 2003). The light weight meter body can be stuck anywhere you want by using double sided tape. DB Meter Chrono can be also fixed on the dash panel by using optional meter stands.
High Performance Stepping Motor
DB Meter Chrono uses a high performance stepping motor for the movement, which features quick needle response and accurate reading. As an electronic gauge, DB Meter Chrono features following functions.

- Warning function
- Replay function (maximum 180 seconds)
- Self-diagnosis function for wiring problem, etc...
- LED dimmer function
- Selective function (Two temperature sensors can be used for one gauge, so the gauge can show two different reading. This function is only for temperature gauge.)
