I was looking for the ultimate compact, front wheel drive, N/A performer and wanted something that I could work on. The Civic EK was perfect for this, as there are many aftermarket parts from a diverse range of japanese tuners.
I have pulled up with many turbo cars; Toyota Supra, Nissan S15, and left them for dead at the traffic lights.
I have had the car on the dyno and have managed 123kw atw with the car weighing just a bit over a ton, it makes a great pakage. I am looking forward to take it down the 1/4 mile and also a couple of track days
An Exedy single carbon plate clutch and lighten flywheel and a Cusco MZ 1 way LSD will be the next step
Looking to stroke the motor to 2L in the not to distant future, also Toda cams, pulleys, valve springs and Spoon gears for the gear box
