NISMO Super CopperMix is the highest performance model in its single clutch system line. It uses a copper mixture for the clutch disk. The CopperMix is able to handle high horsepower outputs & transmit the all the power to the wheels.
420 PS power handling.
It is the strongest single clucth available that can handle 420 PS.
The use of aluminum cover
Leightweight aluminum is used as it offers superior capabilities is high heat dissipation as 420 PS generates a lot of heat. It also guarantees that the torque produced are transferred to the wheels.
The use of 240 mm diameter copper mix disk
The adoption of a 240 mm diameter copper mix disk is a first in the industry. This is used to prevent clutch failure when a combination of the small diameter disk with high pressure contact with the aluminum cover. This design ensures cooling efficiency & stabilized heat dispersion which results in improved transmission efficiency.
The use of strap cover
In order to prevent slippage during gear changes, the strap cover method is used for teh CopperMix clutch. This ensures the pressure plate engages & disengages the CopperMix disk freely.
There are two setting specifications
Setting one aims for maximum horsepower application of up to 420 PS with a mating force of 1000kgf, and setting two is for standard application for a maximum horsepower application of 380 PS, and a mating force of 800kgf.
