The J's Racing Low Temp Thermo Switch for Fit (GD) is designed for the Honda GD Fit cars with high power engines. In these cars the water temperature and engine power are closely related. If the water temperature rises, the ECU will start a rapid power-down due to fuel increase and measures to avoid crisis (correction MAP) such as ignition timing retardation. Lowering the temperatures ensures that you will not have the power cut when you most need it. This item lowers the temperature that the fans kick in from 95 C down to 80 C.
