Tomei developed the oversize oil pan for the SR20 from experience in N2 racing to withstand intense G forces in both vertical and horizontal directions causing clumsy oil circulation leading to engine blow-by and possible engine damage.

SR20 increased oil capacity by 600cc
Designed for increased G-Forces in drift, drag and circuit racing
Low profile design to ensure no problems with lowered vehicles
Internal design features 2 swing back doors to hold oil closer to pickups
