The ATS Carbon Triple Plate clutch is for high-power tuning. These kits are capable of providing powerful transmission performance up to 1,500 hp (at the wheel). These superior characteristics were achieved using our thoroughly studies and tested friction material and our original non-mesh random-weaving method, which dramatically eases the operating feel, making it far less rough in traffic congestion or on a slope for a heavy-duty clutch. Start up is also extremely soft and smooth. In addition to durability that is over 3 times higher than metal, a remarkably significant reduction in impact on engine and transmission components has been verified.

- With the introduction of Spec II, ATS successfully made the pedal effort lighter than stock (w/ 1,400kg clamping force) which has enhanced your driving comfort and pleasure immensely.Â
- Because the 1100kg Clutch Cover can receive the power of 1200PS and the 1350kg can receive of 1500PS.Â
- The Spec 2 - Clutch pedal is lighter than normal OEM clutch but the life will be shorter about 50% less than the Spec 1 Clutch.Â
- The higher lever ratio = less force required however stiffer preload and shorter clamping stroke = Â less tolerable clutch disk wear before it will loose clamping force and slip, So the life of the Spec II clutch is shorter than the Spec 1

About ATS
ATS, short for Active Traction Service, is a maker of limited-slip differentials and clutches in Okayama. ATS was established in October 1995 as an LSD specialist, and also makes cross-ratio and final gears.
The ATS range includes metal and carbon LSDs and metal, carbon and hybrid clutches, with carbon versions made together with CFC Design and sold from 2001, for cars including the GT-R, Civic Type R, GR Yaris and 86/BRZ.
