About Rigid Collar
Rigid Collar is made by Spoon, the Honda tuner and parts maker in Ogikubo, Suginami Ward, Tokyo, established in January 1988. Spoon made reinforcing gusset plates for the Honda S2000 in 2003, developed Rigid Collar in 2010, and added gusset plates for the Honda S660 in 2015.
Rigid Collar collars are small aluminium parts fitted in the bolt holes where a car's subframe meets its body, taking up the clearance left for assembly on the production line. Rigid Collar is made for more than 1,000 models, mostly cars built since 1990.
