Exedy

EXEDY Corporation, formerly Daikin Manufacturing Company, is the largest independent OEM clutch supplier to the Japanese automotive market. A Japan-based company, EXEDY Clutch supplies clutches to Ford Motor Company and General Motors in the U.S. In addition, EXEDY supplies clutches to all major Japanese auto manufacturers and is Japan's leading supplier of racing clutches.

Consistent with their tradition of quality, all EXEDY racing and performance clutches are designed, engineered and built as race clutches - not rebuilt from stock clutches. Unlike other performance clutch manufacturers, EXEDY clutches are not made of gray cast iron from rebuilt stock clutches. Instead, EXEDYclutch pressure plates are newly constructed from ductile (nodular) iron for your increased safety in harsh performance environments.

In the automotive aftermarket, Daikin clutches are sold over the counter in over 80 countries. EXEDY Clutch has manufactured Daikin brand clutch assemblies along with other drive train components for over 75 years. Daikin products have been present in the North America since 1968, and Daikin Clutch products have been manufactured in the United States since 1988 to serve both Original Equipment and aftermarket clutch customers in North, Central, and South America.
