The edirb 172 - STRADIAⅢ LOW Seat is a premium sports reclining seat based on the BRIDE STRADIA III. Compared to the previous edirb 023/033 models, the edirb 172 feature a newly designed bone frame using 3D-CAD and a monocoque body shell that inherits the design of the BRIDE ZETA IV. These next-generation reclining seats combine the supportive performance required for circuit racing with the convenience and comfort needed for everyday use at a high level. The seat and thigh cushions use specially designed high-density molded urethane foam, which distributes pressure evenly across the flat seating surface, ensuring a high level of support while reducing fatigue and sagging even after extended use. The shell is made of high-rigidity carbon fiber, and the edirb 172 Royal Red model is covered in Dinamica®, a suede-like artificial leather developed by Asahi Kasei Corporation. The seat is also equipped with a seating sensor.

Features

The edirb161/162 and 171/172 feature a newly developed one-touch reclining lever that is designed for ease of use, convenience, and durability. While offering step-wise adjustment, it minimizes backlash and play, providing a more secure hold and comfort. Additionally, a new belt hole for a six-point harness has been added to the underside of the seat, making it a design that also takes circuit riding into consideration. (The edirb161/162, which prioritizes a secure hold, has a slightly smaller hole size than the edirb171/172 to reduce belt movement.)
The edirb 171/172 Royal Red features Dinamica®, a suede-like artificial leather developed by Asahi Kasei Corporation. Its densely intertwined ultra-fine fiber structure provides excellent breathability and a soft, smooth feel. By using as much recycled polyester as possible and using water-based polyurethane, the leather material is both environmentally friendly and gentle on people.
