The Enkei ES-Nut are a Super-Hardened Aluminum Wheel Nut that weighs in at about 1/3 the weight of an ordinary steel nut.  This considerably reduces the sprung mass.  The remarkable strength of these nuts is achieved with a Super-Hardened Aluminum material and a special surface treatment.
