The EXEDY Hyper Metal Triple Plate Clutch is designed for high torque capacity with "reasonable" streetability.
Features
- The EXEDY Street / Race Triple Plate Clutch is designed for high torque capacity with "reasonable" streetability.
- The friction facing material is cerametallic to bundle the abuse of highly modified engines.
- Featuring a single spring damper for both discs, this clutch design has strap lift and drive for both the pressure plate and the intermediate plate.
- A patented system evenly lifts both the main pressure plate and the intermediate plate providing a "clean" release for steetability.
- The EXEDY Street / Race Triple Plate Clutch also includes a lightweight billet chrome moly steel flywheel for maximum performance.
- Again, with all cerametallic clutch systems, some chatter should be expected on low rpm startups.

About Exedy
Exedy Racing Clutch is the motorsport clutch brand of Exedy Corporation of Neyagawa, Osaka, whose predecessor Daikin Seisakusho was set up in 1950. Exedy developed a clutch cover for high-revving racing engines in 1964 and began making race clutches for car makers, and its own-brand racing clutches went on sale in 1990. The range includes the Hyper Single, metal Compe and carbon clutches, and Exedy clutches have been used in Super GT cars.
