The HKS Cold Air Intake Kit adds temperature control to the intake efficiency of "racing suction", this is the optimal intake system for the latest car models. In the latest car models, simply installing an exposed air cleaner may cause the engine to lose power due to the rising intake temperature, especially when driving around town. The "Cold Air Intake" covers the "Super Power Flow" with a special box, so it keeps the intake temperature low without compromising efficiency. Although the box covers the "Super Power Flow", it does not spoil the intake sound, which is one of the best parts of changing the air cleaner, so you can enjoy sporty driving even more. The special box is made of carbon or clear case (specially designed for each vehicle model), and makes a strong presence in the engine bay.

About HKS
HKS was founded in October 1973 by Hiroyuki Hasegawa, a former Yamaha engineer, and Goichi Kitagawa, with start-up capital from Sigma Automotive; the name comes from Hasegawa, Kitagawa and Sigma. It began in a small shed at the foot of Mount Fuji, in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, and is still based there.
In 1974 HKS built one of the first bolt-on turbo kits, for the Nissan L20 engine in the Skyline, raising output from 115 to 160 PS. Turbocharging made its name; today it also makes exhausts, springs, shocks and coilover suspension, and it marked its 50th anniversary in 2023.
