The HKS GT III Turbine is a new generation of turbo combining MHI brand CHRA with HKS original housings designed from the long term know-how HKS has accumulated over many years.

- Whilst this is a thrust bearing type turbo, high response compatible with ball bearing setup has been achieved.

About HKS
HKS was founded in October 1973 by Hiroyuki Hasegawa, a former Yamaha engineer, and Goichi Kitagawa, with start-up capital from Sigma Automotive; the name comes from Hasegawa, Kitagawa and Sigma. It began in a small shed at the foot of Mount Fuji, in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, and is still based there.
In 1974 HKS built one of the first bolt-on turbo kits, for the Nissan L20 engine in the Skyline, raising output from 115 to 160 PS. Turbocharging made its name; today it also makes exhausts, springs, shocks and coilover suspension, and it marked its 50th anniversary in 2023.
