The EP3 Civic Type R came on 17x7 +45 wheels with 205/45R17 tyres. A 17x7.5 or 17x8 at +45 on 215/45R17 fits without modification and sits flush. Most owners going wider run 17x8 to 17x8.5 at +35 to +38 on 225/45R17 or 235/40R17, with rolled rear arches and some extra camber.
