About IPF
IPF is a maker of car lighting in Kuragano, Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture. IPF began in September 1946, when its founder Kiyomatsu Ichikawa started pressing small metal parts in Takasaki; the business became Ichikawa Press Kogyo in 1953, moved to its present head office and factory in 1971 and took the name IPF in 1990.
IPF designs and makes car lamps, LED headlamp and fog lamp bulbs and other lighting for the aftermarket and for carmakers, and also makes lights for boats and heavy machinery.
