JUN Auto Mechanic was founded by Junichi Tanaka, starting as the research arm of Tanaka Industrial, and is known in Japan for engine building and top speed. In 1991 a JUN 300ZX reached 422 km/h at Bonneville, and in 2001 its Supra went past 400 km/h.
That engine work is what JUN still sells: forged pistons, stroker kits, camshafts, valves and valve springs, oil pans and engine internals for the Skyline GT-R, Supra, Silvia and other Japanese performance cars.
