About Kanatechs

Kanatechs

Kanatechs is the brand of Kanack Planning, a maker of car audio and navigation fitting kits in Katsushika, Tokyo. Kaneko Seihakosho began making car stereo mounting brackets with Pioneer in 1974, and Kanack Planning was set up in 1981 to design fitting kits; its kits were sold as KANATECH from 2000 and as KANATECHS from 2003.

Kanatechs kits are designed for each car at Kanack Planning's Mizumoto development centre in Katsushika, opened in 1994. The TBX series fits aftermarket navigation units to Japanese cars, such as 9-inch units in the Suzuki Spacia and Honda Freed, and the GE series fits imported cars; the range also includes monitor mounts, sound-up cords, power cords and a 360-degree camera system.
