The IS500 came with 19x8.5 +45 wheels on 235/40R19 tyres at the front and 19x9.5 +60 on 265/35R19 at the rear. Without modification, most owners run 19x8.5 +38 to +45 at the front and 19x9.5 +45 to +55 at the rear, or 20x8.5 +38 to +45 and 20x9.5 +45 to +55 on 235/35R20 and 265/30R20. With rolled fenders and some extra camber, 19x9.5 +28 to +35 fits up front on 245/40R19 with 19x10 +38 to +45 on 275/35R19 at the rear, or 20x9.5 +30 to +35 and 20x10.5 +40 to +45 on 245/35R20 and 275/30R20, and owners keep the car staggered because the front suspension leaves little room for wider front wheels.
