• User-friendly profile:
  • IN252°/EX256°, with a lift of 8.8mm, 1mm higher than the stock specification. NA6 requires a dedicated lifter. NB6 is designed to reuse the stock lifter and shims. It features a gentle F-cam profile, ideal for basic overhauls. The design balances high-lift cam and street-legal specifications, making it easy to use in everyday driving.
• When using with NA6
  • The original HLA (Hyperlift Adjustment) is eliminated, and clearance adjustment (internal shim adjustment) is performed using a dedicated solid lifter and dedicated shim. The dedicated shim is a reverse mount type and is designed to engage with the center protrusion on the lifter side.
  • It is also important to aim for valve timing that matches the specifications by using it in conjunction with a slide cam pulley.
• When using with NB6
  • Solid lifter set available
  • Dedicated cap shim available
  • Because it is designed with the same base circle (reference circle) as the genuine NB6 cam, the genuine lifter and outer shim can be reused as is.
• Necessity of relief machining on the cam top
  • Depending on the casting quality of the cylinder head, the top of the cam lobe may sometimes slightly interfere with the edge of the lifter hole on the cylinder head. If this is happening during engine construction or cylinder head overhaul, please perform a test fit during the process and make any necessary adjustments to allow for clearance.
  • If only a simple cam installation is required, clearance machining will be done on the working engine, so the work must be carried out with proper protection to remove metal shavings. However, the interference is only slight, so it is not at a level where significant machining is necessary.
