Mine's was founded in 1985 by Niikura in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, and is known for engine computer tuning. Its first VX-ROM ECU module, released in 1988, was for the Nissan R31 Skyline.
It went on to make VX-ROM modules for many Japanese cars, and in 2003 it sold a limited run of 15 Mine's R32 Nur Spec complete cars. Today it makes ECU modules and hardware such as exhausts, suspension, brakes and carbon parts, for the Skyline GT-R (R32 to R34), the R35 GT-R, Lancer Evolution, Impreza WRX and Fairlady Z.
