The Galant VR-4 came with 16x6 +46 wheels on 205/55R16 tyres, and the Type S from late 1998 with 16x6.5 +38 on 225/50R16. Most owners fit 17x8 +38 on 225/45R17 or 18x8 +38 to +42 on 225/40R18 without modification. With rolled fenders and some extra camber, 18x8.5 +30 or 18x9 +30 to +35 on 235/40R18 sits flush, the same size front and rear.
