The Evo VII came on 17x8 +38 wheels with 235/45R17 tyres, and the stripped RS grade on 15x6 +46 with 205/65R15. Without modification, 17x8 to 17x8.5 at +35 to +38 on 235/45R17 or 18x8.5 to 18x9 at +35 to +40 on 235/40R18 fit inside the fenders, on a design whose spokes clear the large front brake calipers. For a flush look, most owners run 18x9 to 18x9.5 at +22 to +30 on 255/35R18, with rolled rear fenders, some extra negative camber and often a 5 mm front spacer.
