About Mitsuboshi Belting
Mitsuboshi Belting is a maker of power transmission belts in Nagata Ward, Kobe. Mitsuboshi Belting began in October 1919 as Mitsuboshi Shokai, making cotton transmission belts, moved to rubber belts in March 1920, and began making V-belts in 1940 and timing belts in 1957.
Mitsuboshi Belting has made car interior parts since 1965 and exterior parts since 1973, and today makes belts for cars and motorcycles along with conveyor belts, waterproofing sheets and engineering plastics.
