Mugen - Low Temp Thermostat
Mugen thermostat operates at a lower temperature compared to the original thermostat. It prevents engine power loss by minimizing rapid water-temperature rises under harsh conditions such as during circuit driving. The use of a flow-control-type valve prevents hunting, thereby achieving rapid stabilization of the water temperature (the engine warms up within a short period).

About Mugen
Mugen was founded in 1973 by Hirotoshi Honda, son of Honda's founder Soichiro Honda, and engineer Masao Kimura. It is an independent company, not owned by Honda, but it has worked closely with Honda for its whole history.
Mugen built racing engines that won in Japanese Formula 3000 and powered teams in Formula One in the 1990s, winning four Grands Prix, and it still races in Super GT and Super Formula. For the road it makes aero kits, exhausts, suspension, brakes, wheels and interior parts for Hondas, from the Civic Type R and NSX to Honda's everyday models.
