R Magic FD Heater Core

R Magic developed their FD Heater Core when Mazda decided to discontinue the OEM core. It is well known that that coolant leaks from the heater core are a common problem for the FD3S. So in order to keep the FD3S on the road, they decide to create their own. To address the stock heater core's weakness of coolant leaks from the crimped joint between the core and side tank, the core and side tank are made of brass and integrated. To address coolant leaks from the joint between the core and pipe (O-ring), a brass pipe is welded directly to the core, creating an integrated unit.
