OLD & NEW Team Daytona style, the quintessential off-roader in the form of the RAYS TEAM DAYTONA D9 SPEC-M Wheels. The D9 is an evolved variation model based on the M9 design, combining the classic "lotus root wheel" with the M9's distinctive overhanging beadlock design and air scoops. Emphasizing toughness and a mechanical, gear-like feel, it was designed targeting vehicles such as the Hiace and Land Cruiser. The distinctive 9 holes and 10 air scoops express an active design that conveys a sense of movement. It is a tough off-road wheel that does not get overshadowed by the presence of the tires. The D9 SPEC-M comes in an exclusive Super Dark Gunmetal color and uses a center cap that matches the piercing machining on the outer circumference of the rim.

RAYS was founded in 1973 in Higashiosaka, Osaka, and has made wheels there ever since. Its first wheel, the Volk Mesh, came out in 1975, a racing division followed in 1981, and in 1986 the Volk Racing Gr.A became its first forged wheel. Forging is what RAYS is best known for: the Volk Racing TE37, first sold in 1996, is still one of the most copied wheel designs in the world.
