The RECARO RCS Sound Edition Seats, are a new comfort-style seat designed with the simplest ergonomics in mind, that allows you to enjoy better sound while driving. Developed in collaboration with Pioneer, this new sound system (patent pending) delivers sound from the entire seat. Based on the RCS, it features dedicated speakers (vibration units) and, with the included dedicated hideaway amplifier, can upgrade the sound of a wide range of vehicles to a three-dimensional musical space. It's especially recommended for convertibles like the ND Roadster.

Recaro began in 1906 in Stuttgart as the carriage and body builder of Wilhelm Reutter. It took the name Recaro, from REutter CAROsserie, in 1963 and moved into high-end car seats, introducing its first sports seat in 1965 and a motorsport seat in 1974.
In Japan the brand is handled by Recaro Co., Ltd. in Higashiomi, Shiga Prefecture, which supplies seats to Japanese carmakers and the aftermarket. Its range includes racing shells, reclining sports seats such as the SR series, and seats for performance cars.
