RYUGER - Shimano STEPS SM-BTE80 Charging Adapter
RYUGER - Shimano STEPS SM-BTE80 Charging Adapter
The Shimano STEPS SM-BTE80 Charging Adapter for For BT-E8030 / BT-E8035 Integrated Batteries is Shimano’s dedicated charging interface for integrated STEPS batteries. It allows you to charge batteries like the BT-E8035 outside the bike by converting the internal battery terminals into a standard charging connection. Integrated Shimano batteries do not have an exposed charging port when removed from the frame. The SM-BTE80 solves this by acting as a bridge between the battery and charger, enabling safe and direct off-bike charging.
The SM-BTE80 is a critical component for any Shimano STEPS setup using integrated batteries. It provides the only reliable method to charge the battery externally and is essential for both professional workshop use and advanced builds.
