The SF5 Forester came on 15x6 +48 or 16x6.5 +48 wheels, and the late STi-II on 17x7 +50, the same size front and rear. Most owners run 17x7.5 to 17x8 or 18x8 at +40 to +45, with 225/50R17 or 225/45R18 to 235/45R18 tyres, which fit without modification. Going to 8.5 or 9 wide at +33 to +36, such as 18x9 +35 with 245/40R18, sits just past the fender and needs rolled fenders and some extra camber. Keep all four wheels the same size for the all-wheel drive.
