The SH5 Forester came on 16x6.5 +48 or 17x7 +48 wheels, the same size front and rear, and most owners keep it that way. 18x8 +48 or 18x8.5 +45 on 235/50R18 tyres fits without modification, as does anything from 17x7.5 to 18x8.5 between +45 and +53. For a flush look, 18x9.5 +38 on 245/45R18 tyres fits with rolled rear fenders and some extra camber, best on a lowered car.
