The Forester came with 17x7 +48 wheels on 225/60R17 tyres, or 18x7 +48 on 225/55R18 on the 2.0i-S. Without modification most owners run 18x7.5 to 18x8 at +45 to +50 on 225/55R18 or 235/55R18, 17x7 to 17x7.5 at +45 to +50, or 19x7.5 +45 to +50 on 235/50R19. With rolled fenders and some extra camber, usually on lowering springs, 18x8.5 to 18x9.5 at +35 to +40 on 245/50R18 to 255/45R18 sits flush with the arches, the same size front and rear.
