Every BPE Outback 3.0R came on 17x7 +48 wheels with 215/55R17 tyres, and owners run the same size front and rear. Without modification, most owners fit 17x7.5 to 17x8 at +40 to +48, or 18x7.5 to 18x8 at +42 to +48 on 225/45R18 or 235/45R18 tyres; avoid taller 18 inch tyres, which touch the arch at full lock. With rolled fenders and some extra camber, 18x8.5 to 18x9 at +35 to +40 on 245/40R18 sits flush with the arches.
