The BS9 Outback came with 17x7 +55 wheels on 225/65R17 tyres on the base grade and 18x7 +55 on 225/60R18 on the Limited, B-Sport and X-Break, the same size front and rear. Most owners run 17 to 19 inch wheels 7 to 8 inches wide at +42 to +50, such as 18x8 +45 on 225/60R18, which fit without modification. For a flush look, 17x8 +38 on 225/65R17 or 18x8.5 +38 on 235/55R18 fit with rolled fenders and some extra camber.
