The Sambar truck came on 12x4 +45 wheels with 145R12 light-truck tyres on every grade. It takes 4x100 wheels with a 59 mm centre bore or larger. Without modification, most owners run 13x4.5 to 13x5 +42 to +45 or 14x4.5 to 14x5 +42 to +45 on 155 or 165 tyres, or 15x5 +45 on 165/50R15. With a thin fender trim at the rear or some extra camber from lowering, 13x5.5 +38, 14x6 +40 or 15x6 +42 sits flush, with the rear just at the edge of the narrower bed.
