TAKATA offer their Drift II Snap Harnesses in traditional TAKATA green, or black.  These belts are manufactured to European Standard ECE-R 16.04 and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard FMVSS 209 and meet the requirements for public road use in the United States. The model features a push-button buckle, a 2-inch shoulder belt with ASM® that prevents submarine phenomenon, and a 2-inch lap belt with a comfort pad.

Features

  • Snap-on hardware is sewn into the lap belt. The shoulder belt mounting hardware can be removed, and it can be wrapped around a roll cage or harness bar using the included 3-Bar adjuster.
  • The DRIFT model can only be used with stock seats with adjustable headrests that allow passage of shoulder belts or race seats with belt openings.

Notes

  • Manufactured by TAKATA Racing Europe (Germany).
  • Never use a one-piece seat or place the shoulder belt along the outer circumference of the headrest.
  • Do not use the rear seat while the DRIFT model is installed.
