The Toyota Crown is a line of full-size luxury sedans by Toyota primarily aimed at the Japanese market and sold in other select Asian markets.

Introduced in 1955, it has served as the mainstream sedan from Toyota in the Japanese market throughout its existence and holds the distinction of being the longest running passenger-car nameplate affixed to any Toyota model, along with being the first Toyota vehicle to be exported to the United States in 1958. Its traditional competitors in Japan and Asia have been the Nissan Cedric/Gloria/Fuga and the Honda Legend, along with the defunct Mazda Luce, Isuzu Bellel, and Mitsubishi Debonair.

The V8 Crown hardtop came on 15x6.5 +15 wheels with 205/65R15 tyres, and the V8 sedan on 14x5.5 +27 with 195/70R14. Without modification it takes the same size all round, from 16x7 +15 to 16x7.5 +28 on 215/55R16, or 17x7 to 17x8 and 18x7.5 to 18x8 at +15 to +22; modern high-offset wheels around +40 sit too far in. Lowered, with rolled fenders and some extra camber, most owners run a wider rear in 17 or 18 inch: 8 to 8.5J +0 to +10 at the front and 9 to 9.5J +5 to +12 at the rear.
