TRD offer this Mechanical 2way LSD exclusively for the Toyota 86. This is a high response design that is achieved by optimizing the cam angle. The LSD operates directly to the accelerator control without any discomfort. Although the effect is set to be stronger, the occurrence of chattering is reduced when driving on the street .
The LSD detects the driving force that tries to escape during cornering, etc. by detecting the rotation speed and torque difference of the left and right wheels, and limits the differential function to reliably transmit the driving force to the road surface.
