The Scirocco R came on 18x8 +41 wheels with 235/40R18 tyres, and the Recaro edition on 19x8 +41 with 235/35R19. Without modification, most owners run 18x8.5 or 19x8.5 at +38 to +45 on 235 tyres, the same size all round. On a lowered car with rolled fenders and some extra camber, 18x9.5 +35 on 245/40R18 or 19x9.5 +35 on 245/35R19 sits just past flush.
