WORK was founded in Higashiosaka, Osaka, on March 8, 1977 by Takeshi Tanaka. Its first wheel, the Equip, came out the same year, a factory for its three-piece wheels opened in 1979, and in 1982 it entered motorsport with Team Equip.
WORK is best known for its multi-piece wheels with deep stepped lips, such as the Meister, and for its Emotion range, all designed and made in Japan. It makes a large choice of sizes and offsets, from kei cars to luxury and sports cars.
