HKS has finally released the bolt-on turbo kit for the Toyota 86/FR-S and Subaru BR-Z, this comprehensive kit includes everything required to bolt on the high response GT III-RS turbocharger that is capable of 450 horsepower. With standard engine and internals this turbo kit can be tuned safely for ~ 300 horsepower.

This comprehensive kit includes the following parts
- Special GT III-RS Turbocharger Assembly with built-in actuator
- Available with or without the catalytic converter in the extension pipe
- Oil & Water Piping Parts
- Air Cleaner, Suction Pipe
- Front-mounted Intercooler, Piping
- Exhaust Manifold, CAT-less Extension pipe
- Insulator Cover, Insulator Sheet
- Gaskets, Brackets, Bolts, etc.
The kit can be used with the HKS S-Type oil cooler kit that is purchased separately.
Notes
- Engine Management update required, not included
- Fuel upgrade required, including injectors that are not included
- Competition use only, removes the catalytic converter

About HKS
HKS was founded in October 1973 by Hiroyuki Hasegawa, a former Yamaha engineer, and Goichi Kitagawa, with start-up capital from Sigma Automotive; the name comes from Hasegawa, Kitagawa and Sigma. It began in a small shed at the foot of Mount Fuji, in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, and is still based there.
In 1974 HKS built one of the first bolt-on turbo kits, for the Nissan L20 engine in the Skyline, raising output from 115 to 160 PS. Turbocharging made its name; today it also makes exhausts, springs, shocks and coilover suspension, and it marked its 50th anniversary in 2023.
