The HKS Type S front mount intercooler kit is suitable for power upgrades up to 450HP.
HKS - Intercooler Kit - Type S
The HKS S-Type intercooler kits are front mount intercoolers typically using either a 600x301x65mm or 600x244x65mm core. The larger core is efficient up to 450HP and the smaller core to 400HP. All S-Types utilize a multiple loop shape on the outer fins and a straight through design on the inner fins; allowing the pressurised air to quickly pass through.

About HKS
HKS was founded in October 1973 by Hiroyuki Hasegawa, a former Yamaha engineer, and Goichi Kitagawa, with start-up capital from Sigma Automotive; the name comes from Hasegawa, Kitagawa and Sigma. It began in a small shed at the foot of Mount Fuji, in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, and is still based there.
In 1974 HKS built one of the first bolt-on turbo kits, for the Nissan L20 engine in the Skyline, raising output from 115 to 160 PS. Turbocharging made its name; today it also makes exhausts, springs, shocks and coilover suspension, and it marked its 50th anniversary in 2023.
