About Razo
Razo is the driving parts brand of Carmate, a maker of car accessories founded in 1965 in Taito, Tokyo, and now based in Toshima, Tokyo. Razo was planned in 1984 and launched in 1986 with the racing driver Tomohiko Tsutsumi as adviser, with a shift knob, steering wheel and pedals as its first range.
Razo developed its parts in touring car racing: a Civic EF3 in the All Japan Touring Car Championship in 1989 and 1990, N1 endurance series titles in 1991 and 1992 with a Civic EG6, and the 1995 Super N1 endurance title with an R33 Skyline GT-R. Razo makes shift knobs, pedals and interior accessories that fit production cars without special tools.
