The GR86 left the factory on 16x6.5 +48, 17x7.5 +48 or 18x7.5 +48 depending on grade, the same size front and rear. Most owners run 18x8.5 +45 on a 225/40R18 or 235/40R18, and any 18x7.5 to 18x8.5 from +40 to +48 or 17x7.5 to 17x8.5 from +42 to +48 fits without modification. With rolled fenders and some extra camber, 18x9 +35 to +40 on a 245/35R18 or 17x9 +35 to +40 on a 245/40R17 sits flush; wider 9.5 rims need coilovers to clear the front springs.
