The BELLOF HID system uses 35 watt HID capsules which produce more than twice the lighting output of ordinary 55 watt Halogen bulbs. The BELLOF HID headlight system is a completely new technology in lighting that can conveniently fit right into your existing headlight housing.
Unlike a standard Halogen bulb that uses a filament, which operates on a 12-Volt, DC powered system; the HID capsule has no filament. The HID system produces an arc of light after the inverter and igniter units convert the DC 12 Volts into AC at 25 000 Volt. When high voltage is applied, the XENON gas and metallic salts are ignited to produce an arc of light.
Recently there has been an influx of many European, Japanese and American cars that are utilizing HID technology because of the superiority that it offers. Until now, it was almost impossible to convert a conventional halogen headlamp system into the new HID XENON headlamp technology. The reason it has been so difficult is because the D2S and D2R HID XENON capsule requires a specially shaped base. Therefore, the HID capsule would not fit into a conventional headlight assembly.
The BELLOF HID conversion kit is designed for vehicles utilizing a low beam Halogen bulb inside the headlamp assembly. This kit can transform an ordinary, H7, H4, H3, H3c, H1, HB4/9006 and HB3/9005 headlamp system into the most advanced headlight system in history.
BELLOF has accomplished making the first truly direct drop in retrofit HID conversion kit. The BELLOF HID conversion kit requires none of the "beam correction" that all of "those" other cheap copies require. All BELLOF parts are made in Japan to highly strict Japanese standards unlike the "others" which are homemade kits. Being of high standards, BELLOF has already acquired a world patent in Europe, the United States and Japan.

WHAT ARE CANDELA, LUMEN AND KELVIN?
CANDELA (CD)
The international unit (SI) of luminous intensity. The term has been in use since the early days of lighting when a standard candle of a fixed size and composition was used as a basis for evaluating the intensity of other light sources. This unit is used in measuring headlight output; basically the higher the number is the brighter the light is.
LUMEN (lm)
The international unit (SI) of luminous flux (quantity of light). For example, a dinner candle produces about 12 lumens and a standard 60 watt incandescent bulb produces 830 lumens. The higher the number is, the brighter the light is.
KELVIN (K)
A basic unit of thermodynamic temperature (colour temperature) used to measure the whiteness of the light output. The higher the number is the whiter the light is.
