Depending on the grade, the BD5 Legacy sedan came on 14x5.5 +55 with 185/70R14 or 195/65R14 tyres, 15x6 +55 with 195/60R15, the GT on 15x6.5 +55 with 205/60R15, and the RS on 16x6.5 +55 with 205/50R16 or, from mid-1996, 17x7 +53 with 215/45R17. Most owners run 17x7 to 17x7.5 at +48 to +53 on 215/45R17, 18x7.5 to 18x8 at +47 to +48 on 225/40R18, or 16x6.5 to 16x7 at +48 to +52 on 215/50R16, which fit without modification. A 17x8 +38 to +45 on 225/45R17 or an 18x8 +38 to +45 on 225/40R18 sits at or just past the fender with rolled rear fenders and some extra camber, and owners run the same size at all four corners.
