About Half Way
Half Way is a tuning shop in Nishi Ward, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. Half Way began on 6 April 1986 as a sole trader in Kita Ward, Kobe, selling new and used Suzuki cars, then took up motorsport and parts for kei cars, working on the Suzuki F6A engine from 1991, and became a company in October 2001.
Half Way builds engine swaps, tunes engine computers and makes its own parts, among them a radiator, intercooler, water pump pulley and CVT limited-slip differential for the Daihatsu Copen LA400. In 2006 Half Way showed a Toyota MR-S with a Honda K20A VTEC engine at shows including the Tokyo Auto Salon.
