The JUN Reinforced Rear Member is designed to provide extra rigidity to your Toyota 86 or Subaru BRZ. This begins life as a factory OEM unit and then JUN adds to it to make sure you can get every bit of power to the ground. This strengthened unit helps to prevent sub-frame twisting during the most extreme driving conditions on track.
Features
- Reinforcement bars are added to each mounting position between the sub-frame and the lower arm.
- The bracket for the mounting position of the reinforcement bar is welded.
- The mounting position of the lower arm is boxed and welded with gusset plates. And, each gusset plate is connected by pipe welding. (inside of the sub-frame)
- Additional welding improvements are done to the sub-frame
- Stock rubber bushes are upgraded to rigid ones.
Notes
- A wheel alignment is necessary after installing this strengthened rear member. Exchange of control arms and/or rubber bushes is recommended.
- JUN recommend to have this product installed by a professional shop.
