The SPOON SPORTS S-Tai Bonnet for FL5 is a must to keep the water and oil temperature in check for track driving. That is why SPOON decided to develop this product. The front bumper of the FL5 has sufficient fresh air intake capacity but the problem was efficiently venting the hot air out from the engine bay. The large air duct design of our new bonnet triples the amount of airflow out of the engine bay, greatly increasing the cooling efficiency necessary for demanding track driving conditions. The air ducts on both sides not only facilitate the exit of heated air, but also effectively relieve air pressure from the wheelhouse. This helps to enhance downforce during high speed driving to improve overall handling stability. The bonnet is constructed from light-weight, durable FRP material.

- This item features a white FRP gel coat finish, so painting is required.
- Always test fit the product before painting.
- The product may warp in environments such as paint booths or heaters. Allow it to dry naturally without applying heat.
- In cold winter or high humidity conditions, dry the entire product at temperatures below 40°C.
- Do not heat it in parts, as this may cause distortion.

About Spoon
Spoon Sports was founded in Tokyo in 1988 by Tatsuru Ichishima, a former Honda race car tester and driver, with the backing of Honda and Mugen. It is named after the Spoon Curve at Suzuka, and it works on Hondas only.
Spoon developed its cars in racing, the Super Taikyu series, the Tsukuba 9 Hours and the Nurburgring 24 Hours among them, and its Type One workshop in Tokyo builds and tunes customers' cars.
