The Spoon S-TAI Front Bumper for FL5 is an aero bumper was developed with the aim of maximizing front downforce and cooling performance. Development was based on the setup experience of vehicles participating in Super Taikyu endurance races. The focus was first on improving front downforce, and after repeated prototyping and circuit testing, the cooling performance of the entire engine compartment was also improved based on the data obtained during that process.
Features
- Compared to genuine parts:
- Front center protrusion +20mm,
- Ground clearance -20mm.
- Requires transplantation of the genuine grille.
- Made of FRP black gel coat finish, so painting is required.
Notes
- Always test fit the product before painting.
- The product may deform in environments such as paint booths/heaters, so please allow it to air dry without applying heat.
- In winter or when temperatures are low or humidity is high, dry the entire product at 40℃ or below.
- Do not heat parts of the product. This may cause distortion.

About Spoon
Spoon Sports was founded in Tokyo in 1988 by Tatsuru Ichishima, a former Honda race car tester and driver, with the backing of Honda and Mugen. It is named after the Spoon Curve at Suzuka, and it works on Hondas only.
Spoon developed its cars in racing, the Super Taikyu series, the Tsukuba 9 Hours and the Nurburgring 24 Hours among them, and its Type One workshop in Tokyo builds and tunes customers' cars.
